We are preservation breeders committed to producing healthy Basenjis bred to the standard for conformation, type, and movement. Our breeding program also puts special emphasis on breeding for temperament, as we strive to produce happy and well-rounded companions.
We have been in the Basenji breed since 2020 and have been fortunate enough to garner great mentors along the way. All of our Basenjis are first, and foremost, family members; therefore, we take great strides in making sure each and every one of our Basenjis is fully health tested, per OFA guidelines.
We raise all of our puppies using Puppy Culture protocols, Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), and Early Scent Introduction. We also ensure our puppies are set up for success at a young age by starting recall training, potty training, crate training, and loose leash walking. It is our ultimate goal to raise puppies with superior temperaments that are healthy, healthy, confident.
We have also owned Whippets since 2019, and we actively participate in a wide variety of dog sports and activities. Our first Basenji, Bea, was ranked in the top 30 (breed rankings) for 2023, top 15 owner handler rankings for 2023, and top 25 FastCAT rankings for 2023. Our Whippet, Dixie, was ranked in the top 15 for FastCAT rankings in 2022. We enjoy participating in these sports with our dogs!
